Nilaveli Beach
The Ayurveda Health Center is located on a wide promontory. To the west - towards the sunset - the area borders on a lagoon. This is not suitable for swimming all the more but for quiet views over calm water. In the east - a 15-minute walk towards sunrise - is one of the most beautiful sandy beaches on the island, the 4 km long, wide and gently sloping "Nilaveli Beach". In the morning hours the fishermen work there and the beach invites you to go for a walk.
NILAVELI
Nilaveli is located about 17 km north of Trincomalee and invites you to rest at the most beautiful beach sections of Sri Lanka. Trincomalee is the capital of the eastern province and is located in the northeast of Sri Lanka, about 260 km away from Colombo and 180 km northeast of the city of Kandy.
CLIMATE
Sri Lanka is a year-round destination. Temperatures in Sri Lanka are high and vary only little throughout the year. The highest temperatures occur from March to June. From November to January is the coolest time. The values are on average 26 - 31 degrees. At night, temperatures seldom drop below 25 degrees. The humidity is quite high at 70 – 90%.
The warm and humid climate is particularly suitable for Ayurvedic therapies, because the vessels expand and the pores open. Thereby the herbal oils penetrate particularly well and deeply into the body.
